Denise - Day 1

Denise moved into her new home, sadly with no belongings there is not a lot to do except birdwatch. Things look up when a group of neighbours come by to say hello. Denise enjoys meeting them all and decides this is a very friendly neighbourhood, even the local gypsy comes by but Denise can't afford to spend her money on blind dates. She wastes no time in reading the paper and finds a job as a security guard.

Denise realises that she will need to find somewhere with cooking and cleaning facilities if she is to keep happy so decides to walk to the Carneyvale Centre. She's pleased to see the toilet block and realises that you can cook hotdogs for free on the barbeque, a real bonus! She is also able to have a lounge on a park bench.

When Denise returns home she finds the neighbours are all still there so enjoys getting to know them better. Sadly she realises that it is her day off from work so there is no prospect of earning any money today. As the light fades she cheers herself up by playing with water balloons.

The neighbours eventually go home and Denise realises how tired she is. She can't afford a sofa or bed to have a proper sleep but decides to splash out on a chair. Its hard to sleep in a chair but she manages to doze fitfully. Sadly she is getting rather smelly and this upsets her!

Introducing Denise Destitute

This is Denise and I thought I would run her life along the lines of the poverty challenge but not for points and probably not as strictly, ie: I don't see why she can't take promotions or use any gifts or rewards she achieves.  She will live in a large empty lot and after buying it she will only have 100 simoleans left.  I named her lot "The Poor House", although of course there is no house!  I used the familyfunds cheat to get her to have the exact amount but otherwise I am not going to use any cheats.
Denise is a Libra and her aspiration is Family. Her seconday aspiration will be Fortune. Her turn ons are facial hair and glasses and her turn off is zombiism. Her lifetime aspiration came out as raising 20 puppies or kittens.

Introduction

I've been following a great Sims3 blog about Alice and Kev and also I found something about a poverty challenge in Sims2. So I thought I'd have a play around with a few scenarios and see what happens. I only have Sims2 at them moment - with all the expansion packs - so not as versatile as Sims3 where you can wander all round the neighbourhood but I'll see what I can come up with.
